Shock in Berlin Mitte! (by Tobias and Violeta)

In Mitte, a quarter next to Prenzlauer Berg, there are a few streets which evolved into the main location for galleries of contemporary art. These streets are really “unagitated”: friendly little cafes alternate with the galleries, there is not much traffic, perhaps too many tourists in the daytime but all in all it is a calm area - anyway there is a low crime rate in Mitte.
At night the gallerie´s showcases are illuminated so that you can walk along them and have a look on the artworks - a bit like in an open-air-museum in the town centre.
But yesterday night we were scared! All of a sudden!
We walked along the street … looked into the showcases … and then:

Thank goodness, they turn on the showcase´s spotlight when children are already in bed!
